In between the League 1 games against Monaco and Le Mans, OM will make their way to Sochaux in the last 32 of the Coupe de la Ligue.
The draw for the last 32 in the Coupe de la Ligue took place during the early afternoon at the headquarters of France Télévisions.
Olympique de Marseille will be up against Sochaux away at the Stade Bonal on Tuesday the 23rd or Wednesday the 24th of September.
THE PRECEDENT IN 2003
Sochaux and OM have already played against eachother in the Coupe de la Ligue. In 2003, at the Stade Bonal in the last 16.
OM, at the time coached by Alain Perrin, lost the match 1-0.
Sochaux knocked Marseille out thanks to a goal from Jérémy Mathieu in the 42nd minute.
That year, FC Sochaux went all the way to the final at the Stade de France where they beat FC Nantes on penalties (1-1, 4-5 tab).
