Interview.

Elliot, it’s been a while since you’ve had a full week to prepare a game, has it been profitable?
Yes, up until now we’ve had busy weeks with numerous matches. We’ve had a break and managed to rest before putting in some hard work in order to be ready for the game on Sunday against Lorient. And even if a lot of the players were away on international duty, we’ve worked hard and are well prepared.

How is the mood in the group after the last few poor results?
Everyone has pulled their fingers out. We’ve spoken amongst ourselves and with the coach. We’re ready to move forward. We need to forget, we are competitors. We mustn’t let our heads drop and get things going again on Sunday. All we have left is the league and we really want third spot. We’ll do everything we can to achieve it. We’re all focused on the league now. Everyone has the same objective in their heads, third place.

How will you play against Lorient on Sunday?
We will try and play as we did when we made our way up the table. I mean, stamping our game on the match. We have a team that loves playing with a number of individualities who can make the difference at any moment. We have to keep on playing without putting any unnecessary pressure on ourselves. If we go on like that we should be alright.
