Regularly impressive since his OM debut a week ago at Rennes, Julien Rodriguez almost seems to have been an OM player forever. He talked about his great start for the club in a press conference on Sunday. “I feel like a native of Marseille because I lived here until I was 18. I’m fitting in well with the team. I came here very highly motivated and with the desire to do really well. But the real test will be to continue like this match after match, and I’ll take myself to task in order to regularly put in strong performances.”
Overjoyed by the cup qualification, he also discusses the match in Le Mans. “We suffered but we won. That’s what cup matches are like. If everyone stays tough mentally, and doesn’t let go, we can always get there.”
