J. Rodriguez: “Take the positives from the match”

We had hoped to do better, and we had the chances to do so. That’s football… We have to just get back to work and take the positives from the match into the clash with Nantes on Sunday, and win. In the first half, we took the game to them and we created chances but it didn’t come off. It was tough to play and tough for the strikers to shoot well. In the second half, we had more trouble taking the game to them as the pitch was so bad it was almost unusable. And then we concede this goal. We made a youthful error, but when we get our passing play back together, we won’t concede this kind of goal any more.
We need to take as many points as we can. We’re still in our rightful place on the table but you have to go forward, collecting points. We should have got 3 against Paris and got just 1, and tonight we got nothing but deserved 1. We believe in ourselves and will continue to work hard to erase the negative points.
