From the start, Toulouse posed us problems to which we couldn’t respond. They were very aggressive, they drove forward really hard and moved well all over the park. We wanted to attack but there were too many errors in our game. We don’t usually start games like that. We weren’t winning challenges and we were always late to the ball. Toulouse came to play top football. They had heart and drive, more than we did.
We can get back on track against a team from the National. We have to get going with a win and then keep it up against Lens. We have to ask ourselves some serious questions because this can’t go on. At OM, even one match like tonight’s is unacceptable. OM is about discipline, drive and the desire to go forward. We can’t seem to string our results together. It’s frustrating and enraging but we only have ourselves to blame.
We play on Wednesday, and we don’t have time for navel-gazing. We have to shake this off and play a good game, we have to win for the fans and the directors of the club.
