Mamadou, are you and your team-mates delighted tonight?
Yes, you can say that we are delighted. We have finally been able to officially celebrate the title with our supporters. We had been waiting for this trophy presentation for a long time and I’m happy that we were able to offer this to our supporters. We have had the time to really take things in over the last ten days, but we were waiting for this celebration with our public. We really couldn’t wait, that’s why we wanted everything to be over.

You also finished as the league’s top goalscorer, having put away your 100th goal with OM…
It’s the icing on the cake. It’s a personal satisfaction even if it has happened thanks to my team-mates. They put in a great deal of work throughout the season so that I could score goals, so I’d like to share it with them. As far as my 100 goals are concerned, I have come a very long way and I’m proud to have reached such a total. My objective is always to go as far as I can.

Is this your best season with OM?
Yes as we have won the title, which makes it a fantastic season as that is the most important thing in football.

Will you still be an OM player next season?
Everyone has been asking me that question tonight. I have a contract which runs until 2014 and unless I’m not wanted anymore I will stay an OM player.
