Didier Deschamps spoke publicly on Friday about the previous days meetings and internal discussions within the squad that were 'headed in the right direction'. While he obviously didn't want to go into details, he did comment: "I'm convinced the players are all wearing the same colours on the weekend and have a common interest: getting positive results. That hasn't been the case recently and the squad is going to have to stand up and be counted on Sunday. The interests of the squad have to come before those of the individual because, given our current situation, there will be no winners."
