Once again, there were loads of you that voted for the Man of the Match against Nice. The three goal scorers top the voting charts...

1/ Dimitri Payet: 73%

After providing an assist for the winning goal last weekend against Guingamp, Dimitri Payet stepped it up another level against Nice. The OM midfielder scored two goals, at crucial moments in the game. He opened the scoring in the 19th minute, from a good Mendy cross and an initially blocked Ayew shot. Then he extinguished all Nice hopes with the third goal at the start of the second half, heading home a fine Thauvin cross.
Dimitri Payet will always be the man that scored the first OM goal at the new Stade Vélodrome.

2/ Abdelaziz Barrada: 7%

That the Morroccan international isn't losing any time, is the least we can say: 31 minutes against Guingamp, just 3 against Nice but already a goal. Not a bad start. He made an immediate impact when he came on, at the same level as his teammates. Perfectly set up by Alessandrini after an Imbula backheel was saved by Hassen, he scored the fourth goal for OM, into an empty net.

3/ Florian Thauvin: 5%

He said at the start of the season that he wanted to become a leader for OM, on the pitch. That's what he showed against Nice.  Yes, he did turn over a fair bit of ball, but that's only because he takes risks and tries to make things happen. At the end of the day, he scored one goal and provided an assist. A deserved third place in the voting.
