Abou Diaby, Steve Mandanda and Florian Thauvin are the Olympiens that you wanted to highlight after OM's loss to Rennes at the Vélodrome Stadium (2-5), the 31st day of Ligue 1 2015-16.
1 | Abou Diaby – 26.12%

If there's one positive thing that came out of OM's disastrous game against Rennes, it was this: Abou Diaby's entrance onto the field at the 78th minute of play. The midfielder's first appearance on the field while wearing OM's jersey was excellent news. Even if the final score of the game had been decided before his arrival on the field, Abou Diaby was a sight for the sore eyes of OM's fans in the middle of the overall disappointment.
It's difficult to judge the former Arsenal player athletically, but he does have great statistics such as his 10 successful passes out of 13, his 2 duels won out of 2 played and 2 successful dribbles out of 2 attempted.
No, if Abou Diaby wins the election for Olympien of the game it's not because of his performance but more to celebrate his oh-so-anticipated return after months of hard work to get back into the game. It's also a message of encouragement for the player, who everyone wants to see again often in the time between now and the end of the season.

2 | Steve Mandanda – 25.82%

Amazing last week at Lorient, where he made 9 saves, Steve Mandanda couldn't do anything to prevent his team's defeat at the hands of Rennes. Nobody can blame him for not performing miracles every weekend, even if the Olympiens' captain has bailed them out often since the beginning of the season..
Even if he was responsible for Rennes' 4th goal, it's hard to blame the other 4 on him. Abandoned by his defense against the Bretons, especially during the first 15 minutes of play, Mandanda wasn't abandoned by OM's fans, who showed their love and respect throughout the entire night.
Your many votes in favor of our captained are a friendly show of support for a man who shouldn't have had to go through an evening as complicated as yesterday's.

3 | Florian Thauvin – 19.71%

By scoring his first goal since he returned to OM this winter, with a superb left kick right in the top corner, Florian Thauvin restored hope to OM during the game. The forward's attitude after his goal shows how badly Thauvin is taking the club's current situation.
The most visible OM during the first half, with several shots and a few great passes that were almost decisive for his teammates, Florian Thauvin showed that he was completely devoted to the club.
The originator of numerous plays during the first 45 minutes, he had some trouble keeping the rhythm during the second period, which was why Michel replaced him with Diaby near the end of the game.
