On Wednesday at 6 pm at the Saint-Laurent de Saillon stadium, OM play their second preparatory match against FC Sion. A meeting which will close the first training period.

Ten days after the resumption of training, the Olympians will be playing their second warm-up match, this coming Wednesday at 6 pm at the Saint-Laurent de Saillon stadium against FC Sion. In the fourth round of the 2016-2017 Swiss championship it will probably be a more prominent opponent than the Valais selection (the club of Martigny in reality, which plays in League D4). But the Olympians are ready to take on this first challenge. In any event, they have worked for it. Since the resumption of training, the sessions are conducted at a furious pace at a rate of two per day.
Rudi Garcia and his staff went to seek the freshness and the peace in the Swiss Alps. On this level as well as on the work level, the training at Saillon is a success. Rudi Garcia was able to give playing time to almost all of his players in the first match, with a 2-0 win. The workload is high and bodies suffer even if the recovery times have been planned. The Olympian coach is expected to continue to rotate his squad, as in the first meeting, but we will not see the recent signing, Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo, at work.
