Following many discussions over the last few months, Jean-Claude GAUDIN, senator and mayor of Marseille, and Jacques-Henri EYRAUD, President of the Management Board of Olympique de Marseille, have signed a partnership agreement to formalise a shared ambition that favours the city's attractiveness and influence, as well as the club's success and development to the highest rankings of European football.

This agreement, a symbol of a renewed confidence between Marseille and one of its emblems, has been brought about through joint projects and commitments within the framework of a successful collaboration.

It concerns, in particular, the rent that OM will pay to play its matches in the Orange Velodrome. The stadium operates 365 days a year, with work set to be carried out to make this renowned infrastructure even more comfortable for its spectators. The City will also provide municipal facilities to help discover, train and develop young and emerging talents as well as the creation of an "OM Museum", where the City will plays its full part.

Much more than just a football club, Olympique de Marseille is a formidable vehicle for integration and social cohesion. Marseille is a place where sport is thriving, a vibrant city that breathes football with passion.
