Already a winner in March 2017, Nassim continues his progress by winning the first trophy of the season! Having arrived at the club at the start of the 2013/2014 campaign, the player began this season with Marseille's U19 national league side but has since rapidly made his way into the full National 2 league squad (National 2 is a French league for both professional reserve and amateur teams). At just 17 years of age and currently completing the final year of a French Baccalauréat focussed on economic and social studies, Nassim is now a first-team central midfielder for the reserves.

The Boulanger trophy is awarded to the best young player each month, with the winning candidate chosen by their trainers in accordance with the following criteria: sporting performance, academic results and general conduct in the day-to-day life of the training centre.

A small change has been introduced this year, with the winning player of the month now required to undertake a "happy défi" (happy challenge) set by a player from the main professional squad in order to receive vouchers to spend in Boulanger stores.
