On Friday at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, France hosted Italy in an international friendly. Les Bleus strolled to a convincing 3-1 victory in the rematch of the 2006 FIFA World Cup final.

Starting the match in central defense, OM's Adil Rami featured through the full 90 minutes to see France through its second consecutive victory in the leadup to the tournament in Russia - which kicks off in two weeks.

Thauvin entered the match in the 80th minute, replacing Kylian Mbappé. With the scoreline already set at 3-1, Thauvin added fresh legs and an attacking threat from the flank.

France will next face the United States on 9 June ahead of the World Cup.
