World Cup | France qualifies beyond Group Stages
France can breathe easy after playing two matches and claiming maximum points. A path through the group stages has shown itself to Les Bleus, even before playing the third and final group match next Tuesday against Denmark.
While the 180 minutes played to this point haven't been perfect illustrations of clinicism, France hasn't fallen into defeat or overwhelming injury.
Against Peru, it was a Mbappé winner in the 34th minute after a dominating run and service by Olivier Giroud.
France qualified for the round of 16 with two wins in two games. Les Olympiens Adil Rami, Florian Thauvin and Steve Mandanda are still looking for their tournament debuts.
