World Cup I Les Bleus continue their quest

Les Bleus won 2-0 against Uruguay and cemented their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

France - along with Olympique de Marseille's Adil Rami, Steve Mandanda and Florian Thauvin -  qualified for a historic World Cup semi-final in Russia via the team's 2-0 dismantaling of Uruguay on Friday. 

An Antoine Griezmann free kick onto the head of Raphael Varane opened the scoring and stood as the game-winner in the 44th minute, before Griezmann sealed the victory with a wonderstrike in the 60th minute.

France will play its sixth semi-final of its history, facing Belguim - who defeated Brazil, 2-1, on Friday..
