Payet rejoins Equipe de France

Following an ankle sprain against PSG on Sunday night in the Ligue 1 Conforama Matchday 9, Lyon and France forward Nabil Fekir has withdrawn from the French team. Replacing him, Didier Deschamps selected Dimitri Payet, joining Steve Mandanda and Florian Thauvin.

This international break will see les Bleus face Iceland in Guingamp in friendly on Thursday, 11 October, and Germany at the Stade de France, Thursday, 16 October as part of the UEFA Nations League.
